P.S. I’ve been trying to learn some more Polish from a CD I was given. The other day I went to work with my dad and listened to the CD on my ipod for a few hours. Pretty prodcutive! Also, I got contacts for Poland and a suitcase. It’s getting closer….

Nothing Yet… for me

Well, unfortunately, I haven’t heard anything yet. I haven’t received word from any of the people I emailed. It’s been two weeks… I’m sort of on pins & needles. I sent in my police form (all it says it that I am truly a resident of where I say I am) and new passport pictures. Mine weren’t real passport pictures, so they were rejected.

*For anyone sending in passport pictures for a visa application: You really have to send in actually pictures, not snapshots… they’re not stupid.*

I have, however, been in touch with the student staying at our house while I’m in Poland. I’m being replaced . No, just kidding. It’s really exciting- she’s arriving nine or so days before I depart, so we’ll share a room for a little while. She’ll be living with my family for a few months, and then living with two of my friends. Fortunately for her, she’s in touch with her host family! Hopefully I’ll hear from mine soon…. ugh.

Well if I learn or hear anything new, I’ll be writing.
